Crèche Workshops - Simply Signing Level 1
Simply Signing Level 1, in a workshop environment, is designed to assist pre- school teachers and childcare professionals in:
- Early Language Intervention using Irish Sign Language for all children
- Support hearing children’s literacy
- Facilitate a positive language environment
- Promote inclusiveness and enhance communication
- Promote fun and enrichment
This is a comprehensive one day workshop, child care professionals will be equipped to introduce signs related to a child's environment and development.
This unique training is designed for childcare professionals and care staff working in a variety of different settings.
Simply Signing focuses on signs related to a child's environment involving experiential learning and skills development. This workshop focuses on the Deaf awareness, Deaf culture, ISL, communication using ISL (child directed sign language) from infants to school children.
Participants will also receive level 1 workbook, each crèche unit will receive music CD’s for each room, four large posters and two “First Animal Sign Books”
This will also include a certificate of attendance. |
